Soaring 150 meters high between the historic and modern districts of the city, the Dubai Frame is one of the UAE’s most photographed landmarks. Designed as a literal “window” between the past and the future, this massive golden structure offers a unique perspective on Dubai’s rapid transformation, making it a top priority for photographers and first-time visitors.
A Journey Through Time
The Dubai Frame experience is divided into three distinct parts that tell the story of the city:
- The Past Gallery: An immersive exhibition using 3D projections and special effects to showcase Dubai’s humble beginnings as a pearl-diving and fishing village.
- The Present (Sky Deck): A breathtaking vantage point offering panoramic views. On one side, you see the glittering skyline of Downtown Dubai, and on the other, the historic charm of Deira and Karama.
- The Future Gallery: A high-tech virtual reality experience that predicts what Dubai will look like 50 years from now.
The Thrilling Glass Sky Walk
For those seeking a bit of adrenaline, the top of the frame features a transparent glass bridge. Stepping onto the glass-floored Sky Bridge gives you the sensation of walking on air while the city’s landscape unfolds directly beneath your feet. At night, the entire structure is illuminated with vibrant LED lights, adding a magical touch to the Zabeel Park skyline.
