Envelop Designs Arabia Enters the UAE Through Strategic Partnership With Rayqube

Envelop, an experience design studio known for creating immersive environments through storytelling, design, technology and human behaviour, has officially entered the UAE with the launch of Envelop Designs Arabia, formed through a strategic partnership with UAE based experience agency Rayqube.

Founded by Jai Sharma, Envelop approaches design through the emotions and memories an experience creates, rather than focusing solely on how a space looks. The studio’s work spans social celebrations, public IPs and festivals, brand experiences, real estate launches and ritual design, bringing together storytelling, design, technology and human behaviour.

The UAE expansion marks the studio’s next home for experience design alongside its founding studio in Jaipur, India. Through its partnership with Rayqube, Envelop aims to combine its narrative driven design philosophy with Rayqube’s experience across events, exhibition stand build ups and technology driven experiences.

Designing How People Feel

For Jai Sharma, the decision to enter the UAE is rooted in more than business expansion. He sees Dubai and the wider region as a market with an appetite for experiences that go beyond visual production.

“We didn’t come to the UAE because it was the obvious next step. We came because I believe this region understands what it means to design a moment rather than just produce an event,” Sharma said.

His approach starts with a simple question: how should a space make people feel?

Rather than treating décor and production as the starting point, Envelop considers psychology, pacing, emotion, light, sound and spatial movement as part of the overall experience. From the way guests are welcomed to the flow of a room and the rituals built into an evening, every detail is considered as part of the story.

A Major UAE Debut at Emirates Palace

Envelop’s UAE journey had already begun with a major celebration in Abu Dhabi in February 2026, when the studio designed the wedding of Dhruv Khatoria and Shalina Jhalani at Emirates Palace.

The celebration was conceived as an extension of the couple’s proposal at Villa del Balbianello on Lake Como, translating the gardens, arches and restrained grandeur of Italian châteaus into an immersive experience.

At the centre of the celebration was Carousel Symphony, a signature wrought iron installation inspired by traditional Italian gates. Layered with florals and accompanied by a live Italian symphony, the installation was designed as a sculptural centrepiece rather than simply a decorative feature. The event welcomed guests from around the world and featured a performance by Javed Ali.

For Envelop, the celebration became its first major statement in the region and a preview of the scale of work the studio intends to bring to the UAE.

A Portfolio Built Across Luxury and Culture

Envelop has developed a portfolio across hospitality, luxury, fashion, lifestyle and real estate.

Its work includes experiences for Taj Hotels, Rambagh Palace, Fairmont Udaipur, Ananta Hotels & Resorts and Sofitel, as well as the Jaipur Literature Festival’s opening dinner and events connected to visits by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the French President.

The studio has also collaborated with fashion names including Michael Cinco, Falguni Shane Peacock, Masaba, Shivan & Narresh, Punit Balana and Shantanu & Nikhil.

Its food and beverage portfolio includes experiences connected to 1932 Trevi in Jaipur, Idylll in Bangalore and Burger Farm, adding hospitality and culinary storytelling to its wider body of work.

Despite the breadth of its portfolio, Envelop remains deliberately selective. The studio takes on approximately seven to eight social projects each year, with landmark celebrations typically ranging between AED 8.8 million and AED 22 million in scale.

Envelop by the Numbers

The studio’s expansion into the UAE comes during a period of significant growth.

Envelop’s brand revenue grew 86.70% between FY2024 and FY2025, with projected growth of 223.34% through FY2025 to 2026. Average project values have also approximately doubled over the previous 12 to 18 months.

The studio has delivered more than 200 experiences across eight plus countries, reaching over 2.5 million people and generating more than 2 million media impressions, according to the company.

It has set revenue targets of approximately AED 13.2 million for FY2026 to 2027, AED 22 million for FY2027 to 2028 and AED 33 million for FY2028 to 2029, a trajectory it now aims to extend into the UAE.

What Comes Next for Envelop in Dubai

With its Dubai expansion now underway, Envelop Designs Arabia is looking to build its presence across luxury social events and brand experience design.

The studio is already in conversations around potential projects within Dubai’s rapidly developing real estate sector, while also planning a number of brand experiences and selected social events in the coming months.

The UAE launch represents another chapter for a studio whose philosophy is rooted in the belief that the strongest experiences are remembered not simply for what they looked like, but for how they made people feel.

With Envelop Designs Arabia, that philosophy is now being brought to a Dubai market increasingly shaped by luxury, culture, design and experience.
