Wynn Al Marjan Island Unveils 98 Berth Superyacht Marina Ahead of 2027 Opening

Wynn Al Marjan Island

Wynn Al Marjan Island is adding another major feature to its upcoming Ras Al Khaimah resort with the unveiling of Wynn Marina, a 98 berth superyacht marina designed to bring arrivals by sea directly into the wider resort experience.

Unveiled on October 5, 2026, the marina will accommodate super and megayachts of up to 85 metres and will sit at the heart of Wynn Al Marjan Island. Wynn says the facility will accommodate more yachts and larger vessels than any hotel attached marina in the UAE, creating a new waterfront experience for yacht owners, resort guests and visitors.

Wynn Al Marjan Island’s New Waterfront Experience

Wynn Marina will feature a distinctive circular harbour, with a radial berth layout within a protected basin and a maximum depth of five metres.

The design is intended to make the marina part of the visual identity of Wynn Al Marjan Island. The harbour will be visible from surrounding accommodations, terraces, restaurants and promenades, creating views of yachts, waterfront activity and Arabian Gulf sunsets.

“Wynn Marina has been conceived as a direct extension of Wynn Al Marjan Island,” said Max Tappeiner, President of Wynn Al Marjan Island. “Guests will move effortlessly between life on the water and experiences throughout the resort, from dining and entertainment to accommodations and waterfront amenities.”

The marina is being designed by Marina Solutions International, with Fort Lauderdale based IGY Marinas serving as the marina partner and overseeing operations.

From Yacht to Resort

For yacht owners, charter guests, captains and crew, the experience will begin from the moment they arrive.

At the centre of Wynn Marina will be The Capitainerie, which will serve as the marina’s arrival point and operational hub. The facility will bring together marina operations, guest services, concierge support and captain services under one roof.

Guests will be able to check in onboard their yachts before gaining direct access to the resort’s accommodation, dining, entertainment, wellness and retail experiences.

IGY Marinas will oversee marina operations, with services including dining reservations, transportation, yacht provisioning, onboard celebrations and tailored experiences across the resort.

The concept is designed to create a seamless transition between life on the water and the wider Wynn Al Marjan Island experience.

You Do Not Need a Yacht to Enjoy Wynn Marina

Wynn Marina is not being designed exclusively for yacht owners.

A waterfront promenade will give resort guests and visitors a place to walk along the harbour, dine beside the water and watch yachts arrive and depart.

The marina will also sit alongside Wynn Al Marjan Island’s Marina and Ocean Estates, creating a connected waterfront environment where accommodation, yachts and resort experiences meet at the water’s edge.

The setting will also create new possibilities for events and celebrations, including wedding arrivals by yacht and occasions overlooking the Arabian Gulf.

Another Major Addition to Wynn Al Marjan Island

The marina is the latest element to be revealed ahead of the planned 2027 opening of Wynn Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah.

The wider resort is planned to feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, a theatre, beach club, multiple swimming and wading pools, water features, a five star spa, salon, shopping promenade and celebrations and events centre.

Wynn Al Marjan Island is being developed on Al Marjan Island and is positioned as a major new destination within Ras Al Khaimah’s growing tourism landscape.

The resort has continued to reveal new elements of its development, including private townhomes under its Enclave concept, two seven bedroom Royal Apartments located within the upper levels of the 70 storey Resort Tower and a 550 metre beachfront featuring a lagoon and engineered offshore reef.

With Wynn Marina now joining the project, the waterfront is becoming an increasingly important part of the resort’s overall experience.

Wynn Al Marjan Island Is Building Around the Water

Wynn Marina is ultimately being positioned as more than a place for yachts to dock. Its combination of superyacht access, waterfront dining, hospitality services, residences and event possibilities is designed to make the marina an integrated part of the destination.

For guests arriving by yacht, the journey will move directly from the water into the resort. For other visitors, the marina will provide another place to dine, walk, gather and experience the waterfront.

As Wynn Al Marjan Island moves closer to its 2027 opening, the new marina offers another glimpse of the scale and ambition behind Ras Al Khaimah’s upcoming resort destination.
