The first major activation to take over The Plaza Uptown Dubai events venue is the Moonlight Market, running from February 20 until the final day of Ramadan 2026. Transforming the space into a contemporary evening hub, the market operates daily from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
Visitors can explore a curated mix of the city’s favorite concepts:
- Dining: Food trucks and pop-ups including Salt, Freat, Goodies, Desert and Chill, and Lana Lusa.
- Retail: A dedicated market section powered by Ripe Market, featuring home décor, apparel, and artisanal crafts.
- Entertainment: An open-air cinema under the stars, live mural painting, light art installations, and interactive board games like giant Jenga and chess.

The opening of The Plaza Uptown Dubai events venue marks the next phase of growth for the DMCC’s flagship district. Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC, noted that the venue offers scale and capability that position Uptown Dubai as a premier site for major international events.
The district is already home to Uptown Tower and The Atrium, with two additional commercial towers currently under construction. Once the masterplan is complete, the area will offer a total gross floor area of 538,000 square metres, reinforcing its status as a thriving hub for global business and luxury living.
