Dubai is set to solidify its status as the global capital of the digital economy as the fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit 2026 Dubai kicks off on 9 January 2026. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the three-day summit will transform the city into a playground for over 15,000 creators, influencers, and industry leaders.
Spanning three iconic locations — Emirates Towers, DIFC, and the Museum of the Future — the 2026 event is organized by the UAE Government Media Office under the theme “Content for Good.”
The Two Main Pillars: Impact and Artificial Intelligence
The 1 Billion Followers Summit 2026 Dubai is built around two core pillars designed to shift the creator economy from entertainment to measurable real-world impact.
From Content Creation to Impact Creation
This pillar is led by the 1 Billion Acts of Kindness campaign. Through a landmark partnership with MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson), the initiative has already inspired more than 170,000 acts of kindness worldwide.
During the summit, the top 10 creators will be announced and awarded the opportunity to travel to Ghana with MrBeast to help build a village featuring schools and healthcare infrastructure.
AI Integration in New Media
The second pillar focuses on the future of content through technology. A major highlight is the AI Film Award, launched in collaboration with Google Gemini.
Offering a US$1 million grand prize, the competition attracted 30,000 participants from 116 countries. Five shortlisted films will be screened on January 10, showcasing the power of AI-driven storytelling.
A Star-Studded Speaker Lineup
The 1 Billion Followers Summit 2026 Dubai will host more than 500 speakers, collectively reaching over 3.5 billion followers worldwide. Confirmed speakers include:
- MrBeast – World’s most-followed YouTuber and philanthropist
- Will Smith – Actor and producer
- Novak Djokovic – Tennis icon and mental health advocate
- Lara Trump – Media personality and TV producer
- Rio Ferdinand – Football legend and entrepreneur
- Mohamed Alabbar – Founder of Emaar and digital visionary
Speakers will lead 400 sessions across three tracks: Economy, Content, and Technology, covering monetization, AI, ethics, and influence.
Why 2026 Is Different: The Creators Market
For the first time, the summit introduces the Content Creation Companies Pavilion (Creators Market). This dedicated space will host 100 SMEs and start-ups, enabling creators to transform viral ideas into sustainable businesses.
